If you go to the Synchronizer download page, https://hpln.hpe.com/contentoffering/hp-alm-synchronizer, you won't find such old versions. So I would definitely go for the latest version.

This is not a bug in QC but in the workflow script that your administrators created. It seems obvious the workflow does not take into account someone doing a batch update from Test Grid. So you should contact the persons responsible for project customizations and discuss the issue with them.

How do I capture the current linked Defect_ID and Description in Test Plan / Test before it changes
I need to regularly report on / access last both the current and the previous TS_Exec_Status with it's linked Defect_ID and Description when the test is re-run and the TS_Exec_Status changes and a new Defect is raised. I've captured TS_Exec_Status and stored in TS_User_01 (in TestLab FieldCanChange ) and therefore need to store the Defect fields in TS_User_02 + 03 Be grateful of all help please Many thanks Helen

This is a requirement. ISO 27001 compliant means that user data should be kept out of loggings, but to track unwanted behaviour this is not possible.
So do include username in logfiles please. And not detail, because that makes too large logs with over 300 concurrent users.

Hi all,
I have linked a template to a project and I have correcty applyied template customization to the project.
In the project the customized fields (system fields and also user fields) are setted in read-only mode.
It's possibile to applyied the customization and make the fields in linked project editable?

Need to Export Test Steps to Excel
Most of us know that you can build tests and test steps in Excel and then use the snap-in to upload them into QC projects.
I would like to find a way to export tests and their steps back into Excel, so they can be modified by our offsite vendors who don't have access to our QC.

Basic User Administration Features Needed
Can anyone comment on the missing basic admin functions that still plague HP QC, such as:
1) Not being able to message all users associated with a project or all users in Site Admin.
2) A feature that would allow users to self-register and not force an admin to enter hundreds of user records for projects.
3) Configuration of the initial account creation emails, that would also provide the site link to those new users.
4) A better user search feature.
