Project restore error from qc10 to ALM11

Hello,

I am trying to export project from a qc10 (versions of qc and alm at the end of the post) and SQL database to ALM11 on sql DB.

I read a lot of topics on the subject (I attached the doc explaining the method I used) and I followed the steps described, which are :

• save the schema (db) on the old db server
• restore it on the new server
• save the repository on qc10 server
• paste it on alm11 repository
• create a blank project on alm11 (to get the dbid.xml)
• paste the new dbid on the project folder
• modify the project name/schema name/project repository path/modify the last 2 digits of the project UID
• remove the empty project from siteadmin
• do the restore with the modified dbid.xml

With this method, I always arrived at the same end, ALM told me "Impossible to restore project" (no other details on the error message).

I tried to modify some steps on the previous method :

• not creating blank project and just modifying the dbid from qc10 project
• running a query against the restored DB
  

  EXEC sp_change_users_login 'Auto_Fix','td' 

• keeping the same names for DB/project as on qc10
• changing the names

I did not export the siteadmin db because at the moment, I just want to get the projects back. Can this be the cause for my error ?

I will have to export a complete qc10 platform on the future (with siteadmin). How do you export/import siteadmin db ?
