Quality Center closing suddenly when session expires

I use the application QCExplorer.exe, not the browser to run Quality Center. When my session expires, rather than take me back to othe login screen, the window disappears. Poof, it is just gone. Is anyone else experiencing this? I use version 10.0.0.2526.
