Re: Unable to connect QC server

Since you are a developer, I would advise using QC Explorer. But I believe some pre-requisites might be missing.

 

1. Is your network ID in the local Administraor group? Right click 'My Computer', select 'Manage', select 'Users and Groups'. On the right double click ' Administrators'. Is your network ID there?

2. If yes, then

  • Uninstall your current 'QC Explorer'
  • Go to URL https://hpln.hp.com/page/hp-alm-explorer-add  and select your version of ALM and SAVE it to your local drive
  • Right click on the saved executable and select 'Run as Administrator'. Select RUN on any pop-ups or messages.
  • When install complete, right click on 'QC Exporer' icon in menu and select 'Properties' and then the 'Advanced' button. Check the 'Run as Administrator'. This way you do not have to select it each time.

Now run QC Explorer and let us know the results.
