After several attempts to create a solution for using OpenOffice.org’s Calc with Quality Center, the attached .zip file contains three .vbs scripts to connect Cal Open Office with Quality Center Requirements, Test Plan, and Test Steps. The Batch.ods file is a spreadsheet file format used by OpenOffice/StarOffice to help make this connection possible.
So, why use this OpenOffice Calc add-in with Quality Center? The answer is simple: unlike the current add-in for Excel (which requires you to have a license for Excel to be used with QualityCenter), OpenOffice Cal is free.
