To get up to the HP ALM product (current version is 11.52) your data must be at least up to version QC 10. To get to QC 10, your data must already be up to version QC 9.0 at a minimum. You cannot upgrade directly from TD 8 to ALM of any version. You will have to take TWO intermediate upgrade steps. Since you will need to upgrade to intermediate versions for which support has been discontinued, you will need to engage with HP support or another vendor to help you.
