There is another table called Sequences and it can be updated probably too.
Otherwise your solution is like a 'db harakiri'.
I propose safer way how to do it - create a new field TC_USER_01 in customization, next copy values from TC_USER_05 to TC_USER_01 by sql in SA and next delete TC_USER_05 in customization.
