Re: "Call to Test" and "expected" Problem in HP QC Test Lab

Hello,

i fixed it: Parametrization was the word. Thank you. First, my structure again:

1 Testlab
2 test set
3 facility test
4 in the facility step I have added the individual "expected" and I link to telegram test
5 telegram test
6 telegram step with standard expected ( sent okay or received okay)

I entered a parameter to the test in layer 5, e.g. "checkpoint" without any default value. Then i added this parameter "checkpoint" into my test step description (layer 6) or in the expected. i used the description.

Then, when i use / connect to this test with "call to test" from layer 3, it adds the test from layer 5 and i get asked, which value for the parameter should be used.

When i Run the layer 3 test in test lab, it parses the parameter down to the layer 6 steps and i see them in my run.

Everything is perfect now.

Regards,

Sebastian
