Hi,
I am a new user of REST API for ALM and having some problem when trying to POST new Run entity.
First, my main goal is to update tests executions that were triggered outside of ALM.
1) As I understand it, all that I need to do is POST a new "run" entity with the suitable fields (such as "status", "test-id", "name" etc) - am I right?
2) I already extracted the mandatory fields for "run" entity, and create the needed xml, but when I post it to the server (via REST api) I get an Internal Server Error (code 500) response - can anyone help me understand why?
Details:
The rest mechanism is working (I already have the session key and basic authentication - note that other commands such as GET for some collections are completely fine and I gets valid responses)
URL used: http://{SERVER}:{PORT}/qcbin/rest/domains/{DOMAIN}/projects/{PROJECT}/runs/
Any help would be appreciated :)
