Here are some answers:
What did you upgrade from? 9.2
Has the Smart Repository migration completed? Yes
Does it happen in all projects for all users? All users in this upgraded project are experiencing the problem.
Does it happen only for upgraded projects? No, we have upgraded a few projects, but are just seeing this problem in one. (The production one we care about.)
Have you tried creating a new, empty project and seeing if it happens there? The problem does not occur on a new empty project.
Additional update:
HP support just responded after reviewing the log files, and suspects that this could be a project corruption issue. They have suggested we create a copy of the project, run the verify/repair tool on the copy, and check to see if the same behavior persists.
Unfortunately, when we try to create a copy for any project (upgraded or newly created empty projects) we get a “project already exists in domain” error.
