Re: URL attachment issue in ALM

Hi,

in QC 10.00 we are using test attachments which are stored outside of the repository in some projects. In table CROS_REF these attachments are stored as CR_REF_TYPE: "Internet Web Address" and the CR_REFERENCE looks like "file:///N|/Proj/test.xls".
After migration of these projects to ALM 11.52 the entries in the CROS_REF table are the same, but the attachments cannot be opened anymore: instead the error message "Illegal character in path" is shown.
Some tests in these projects are created by an external tool and thus attachments with such file links will be added also in the future. Hence the approach of GBinEG unfortunately is no suitable solution for us.
Are there any changes in ALM 11.52 concerning attachments outside of the repository? Or does anybody know any solution for me? Thanks!
