Error from QuickTest Add-in :: "Cannot Download Report" .

Hi All,

 

On ONE of the QTP Test Instance, When we attempt to open the run results file via clicking on "Run Results" we are recieving the error message "Cannot Download Report".

 

Please find the below screen shot:

For other instances , we are able to open their execution reports successfully.

 

The reason of the below message appearing is as follows: 

Run ID:

86470 - First Instance (Present in the ALM repository)

86549 - Second Instance (Not present in the ALM repository)

86580 - Third Instance (Present in the ALM repository)

Please help me understanding the below questions:

 

1) Shed some light on understanding how find around the QTP and ALM integration works and why repository files do not get created on the repository?

 

2) What are the possible factors that might have lead to this scenario?

 

3) How to fix this issue, where are the run result folder currently located, will they be sitting under TD_80 folder in the %temp% of client machine or some where else?

 

Kindly advise.
