I don't believe there is any solution that satisfies the requirements of you issue. You can try opening a case with HP Support.
I think the only way to solve the problem is to change the user groups and then use data hiding. Isolate the users from whom you need to hide the data into a single group. Give that one group all the permissions that span the multiple groups the users would otherwise belong to. Then set up a data hiding filter.
