I'm new here.
Is there any way in excel to insert Template in Step for a test case. For an example
I'm creating template in test plan as "Template Enter URL" wherein I'm entering description as Enter URL <<<URL>>> in description. Please note <<<URL>>> was parameterized
I'm creating mutiple test cases to login to gmail, facebook etc...
when I'm creating test case for gmail i'm calling template "Template Enter URL" followed by some manual steps.
My step description looks something as below
Step1 Template Enter URL(//this should be template call which I created in Test plan folder)
Step2 Enter Username
Step 3 Enter password
Step4 Click signin
When I tried in MS Excel Addin using above steps, its treating Template as a plain text.
I want to know is there any way edit the code given above(or changes in addin) to call template within a test case. Please help
