Thanks for the reply Jan!
You're absolutely correct. I'm using version 10. This is a refresh issue, but the issue is worse than that.
In many of my test cases, I copied a called test step multiple times and changed the parameters in each of the copies. However, now after checking in my test case and refresh the test plan, all of the parameter values that I changed in the copies have reverted back to the parameter values of the original called test. This is not good.
Is there any fix for this issue that you are aware of? I'd like to be able to copy a called test multiple times within a test case and change the parameter values for each copy, but this refresh issue is causing havoc. The only way it works is if I copy the called test, then check-out the test case, check it back in, then I see the parameter values of the original called test in the copy and then I can change the parameter values for the copy and make them stick. The fact that I have to check-out the test case and check it back in to make this work however, defeats the purpose of copying the called test. I'd be better off in this case to just insert the called test manually many times, but that is somewhat annoying too because every time I open the 'Select a Test' window to add the called test, the navigation tree opens to the root Subject folder and my folder containing the called tests is many levels deep. It would be nice if the window remembered the last location.
Thanks for any further assistance you can provide.
