I'm trying to instal ALM v11.52 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 with a 2008 R2 SQL server. When I try to connect to the database I get an error saying "Failed to validate database connection parameters". I have triple checked that I am using the correct parameters, and have even connected to the DB through SQL Server Management Studio.. The DB user has the required dbcreator and securityadmin rights. Port 1433 is listening on the SQL server and we have several other databases running on this SQL server, so I know the TCP/IP settings are enabled.
What else is there to check? This doesn't make any sense...
