Not able to load QC 11.0 on machines after MS security patches installed

Hi all,

 

We had an issue in few of the user machines (not all) where users are not able load QC. It stops with the below error.

 

"Initialization has failed Please contact system administrator". We tried out all the options available like updating the root certificate, installing the certificate from the QC site.

 

On further investigation we observed that a MS security patch installation has happened on all machines exactly on the same date when we started observing the issue. But what confusing us is that the issue is not there in all machines but only in very few.

 

Has anybody experienced these sort of issues before? Any advise will be great to fix this. The security patch document is attached in case somebody wants to have a look.
