I am doing a proof of concept for using QTP on several lab machines managed through HP-ALM to execute those scripts at given times, possibly integrated with CI with Jenkins... I do not have direct access to the software in order to test for myself and I have never done this with QTP...
Remote machine needs QTP installed and some settings to allow HP products to execute tests remotely etc, I got that from other posts, does the slave machine also need to have it's QTP install connected to HP-ALM, or is the connection 1 way, ALM to QTP? The instructions I found and posts I read do not indicate that this is necessary but I think this is obvious, but if this is the case then my lab machine needs it's own HP-ALM account and login, correct?
