we are using HP ALM Premier 11.52. We keep a repository of all test cases as a separate project and share them with implementation projects using library import functionality.
We were able to successfully create baselines in the repository, imprort baselines into implementation projects and make sycnhronization baselines. During the latest attempt to synchronize libraries some libraries were synchronized without any issues. However, for some reason I had problems with a couple of libraries that have not been synchronized.
In the sycnrhonization log there was some exception error. After the log was closed I am not able to access the log again.
Symptoms:
- When I try to check the imported library log I get a message "Failed to get library Task ID"
- Compare baseline functionality from the imported library doen't work anymore
- When I try to compare a source library with the imported library I get a message "The library you wish to compare to is not stable"
Baselines have been created after working hours, so nobody was working on the test cases that could cause locking.
Does anyone have an idea what is the root cause of the problem?
And most important, how to fix this problem so we can continue using the library import functionality to share test cases.
