I am a tester that works within a team that performs UAT. We perform cross-project testing for each enterprise release in our company.
My team refuses to use ALM and instead copies all the test cases into a spreadsheet and one person is nominated to update ALM. I think the reason for this is because we have not found an easy way to view just the test cases that are assigned to our team in the grid format.
I have played with the Cross Filter functionality and can at least exclude the folders / test sets and test cases that do not apply to our team. However, in order to see the work that is assigned to us for a release we still need to go into each project folder individually.
Is there a way to set up a grid view at a certain folder level (e.g. release level ENT 2014.07.24) that will show us all the test cases that have been assigned to our team combining all the different test cases from all the projects into one view? See picture... I want to see all the test cases in PR029574 and PR029651 that are assigned to our team in one grid view..... we test about 15 projects so it is a pain to keep going into each test set.
