Re: Blank Page issue while accessing ALM 11.0 client side

Hello All,

 

Updating this post again. Last time when I faced this issue, last thing we did was reformat the complete machine & issue got resolved.

 

Yesterday I got smilar blank page issue on 2 more machines. Both are Win XP SP3. I searched forums & found that this issue may be .net framework specific. So it was suggested to uninstall & then re-install MS .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 from Microsoft website.

 

I unsinstalled 3.5 SP1 .net frameowrk. rebooted the machine, accessed QC, re-directed to MS site, downloaded .net framework & then tried to install with admin rights. Surprisingly, when it tried to install i got the error that it can't install this .net framework 3.5 SP1 for some reason. Attached are the error logs which was generated. Can somebody please help on this. Seems machine is not able to install .net framework.

 

Please note that on this machine, we have multiple .net framwork versions (MS .net Framework 1, MS .net Framework 2, MS .net Framework 3 SP1, MS .net Framework 4 client profile, MS .net Framework extended).

Unfortunately I can only uninstall the QC one (MS .net Framework 3.5 SP1) as other .net versions are being used by other applications on this machine.

 

Can somebody advise please.
