Hi gurus,
bumped into a weird issue in QC: every now and then (well, about 90% of the time) the defect description is not included in the mails sent from QC. This happens with both automatically triggered and manually sent emails. Haven't changed any settings in site admin, nor in project customization.
I tried sending a defect manually to myself about 10 times without changing anything on the defect meanwhile. Meaning that for example the description field was populated the whole time. However, only one of these 10 manually triggered emails contained the description of the defect. All other defect information except for description (i.e. all populated fields) were included in all the mails.
Now I know that for manually sent emails I can overcome the issue by manually selecting the description field to be included in the 'sender comments' field, but that doesn't solve the problem that this is missing for automails as well. And anyway for manual emails too this info should be included automatically.
Is this some kind of a known issue with QC? Any help in overcoming this problem would be highly appreciated.
HP ALM QC version is 11.0, no patches installed.
