Happy to say, We got the solution for this issue
The code was good but the QC instance which I am using supports version control feature.. That mean while updating any component, we have to checkout it, update, save and then check in ...
We added a code for Checkout the component before posting parameters and then checkin after posting.
and the code is working fine.. Hope this will help someone in future.
