Re: Upgrading schema of version 11.00 is not supported

I am not sure about V 11.0, but I just used the following process to move a project from QC 10.0 -> ALM 11.52 and the users came with it.

After our DBA moved the schema to 11.52 from 10.0, I moved the file system/edited the dbid.xml, and then restored the project, then I verify/repair/upgraded.  Afterwards I checked 'Site users' in Site admin and the users from the old project were there.  Also so were the custom user group roles.  The caveat for users(non LDAP) was that the passwords are blank and you only get the username(lose email, etc.).

You can just export the user info from the old db and manually enter, or enter in new DB, or via OTA api.  Either that or make your users switch their passwords/emails/etc. on first login.
