Additional Observations:
If we launch QTP externally out of ALM, connect to ALM and when we try to execute the QTP test script, initially only the Test Script files are pulled from repository to %TEMP%/TD_80 folder of the user's profile, after the execution is completed the "Run Results" are created in the Repository, when the user try's to launch the report then the run result folder details are getting copied into %TEMP%/TD_80 folder of the user's profile.

If we execute QTP Script Via ALM only the Test Script files are pulled from repository to %TEMP%/TD_80 folder of the user's profile, after the execution is completed the "Run Results" are created in the Repository, when the user try's to launch the report by clincking on "launch report" of the test instance, then the run result folder details are getting copied into %TEMP%/TD_80 folder of the user's profile.
This analysis indicates that the source of the issue is that, run files did not created in the repository at the first place.
When User attempted to launch report, it never opened which indicates that Run Execution folder/files are never transferred/copied from repository to local profile temp.
I have verified the run execution it ran for few minutes and is successful( all the steps in the script executed successfully).
Question is, Why is the RUN Results folder for this Test Instance did not get created in the repository?
Is there a way through which I can further investigate the root cause?
